With education and experience from around the world, our team brings a unique blend of research focuses and global networks to CyprAm. In Cyprus, we as an organization are deeply engaged across the island’s defense, foreign affairs, and civil society spaces.

  • Founder & Executive Director

    From Okinawa, to Puerto Rico, and Cyprus, Ethan leverages his experience in defense, as well as academia in order to transform human narratives to actionable government policy.

    His research focuses are anti-base movements, split nations, and Eastern Mediterranean security.

    As a Lebanese-American, Ethan strives to help develop regional stability through enhanced diplomatic and security cooperation with the U.S.

  • Senior Project Manager & Director

    Across Cyprus and the region, Aleksandr’s wide-ranging experience with foreign affairs is cornered by a decade of service in professional and academic settings.

    His research focuses are international cooperation and history in Cyprus, the Balkans, and the Eastern Mediterranean at large.

    Inspired by the unique culture and history of Cyprus, Aleksandr seeks to assist preservation through public safety and wellbeing.
